Friday, May 11: A convoy of three historic Vlaardingen ships - The Balder (a.k.a. VL92), The Iris and The Galant - will set sail from Vlaardingen with the VL92 Gin on board. At the Hook of Holland, The Balder will sail back and the two remaining ships will continue their 20 hour voyage.
Saturday, May 12: The Iris and The Galant will be received in by the mayor of the historic fishing town Great Yarmouth.
Sunday, May 13: The Galant returns to The Netherlands. The Iris will continue its trip along the British coast and wait at the mouth of the Thames for favorable tide.
Monday, May 14, 9pm: The Iris moors next to Tower Bridge in London.
Tuesday, May 15, 4 p.m. at the HC Mooring: Sietze Kalkwijk will personally deliver the first box of VL92 Gin to world-famous bartender Alex Kratena. At 9:30 p.m., the ship will sail with the tide to open water. (Address Hermitage Community Mooring: 16 Wapping High Street, London, E1W 1NG)
Wednesday, May 16: The Iris arrives safely at its Vlaardingen home.
